Important Disclosures and Consents
Last updated: March 23, 2026
Please review the following Disclosures and Consents carefully. They affect your legal rights. We recommend keeping a copy for your records.
Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure (FCRA)
Consumer Credit Report. When you open or claim your Natural Account, Natural may obtain a consumer report about you from at least one consumer reporting agency. A consumer credit report may include information about your credit standing, credit capacity, general character, personal characteristics, or mode of living.
Permissible Purpose. Natural may use this information to:
- verify your identity;
- evaluate if you qualify for a Natural Account or credit;
- service your Natural Account; and
- comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Your Rights. Under FCRA, you have the right to obtain a free copy of your consumer report from a consumer reporting agency. You may also dispute inaccurate or incomplete information. If Natural takes adverse action based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, we will provide you with an Adverse Action Notice as law requires.
Equal Credit Opportunity Act Notice (ECOA)
The Federal ECOA prohibits creditors from discriminating against applicants based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, or age. It also prohibits discrimination because all or part of your income comes from a public assistance program or because you exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.
Consumer Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) Disclosure (Reg E)
Your Liability for Unauthorized Transfers. Notify Natural immediately if you believe your login credentials have been lost or stolen, or if a transfer was made in error or without your permission.
Timing. If you notify Natural of any of the above occurrences within 2 business days of the occurrence, your losses will be capped at $50. If you notify Natural after 2 business days, you could be liable for losses up to $500 if Natural proves we could have stopped the unauthorized use had you notified us immediately. If you notify Natural more than 60 days after the first statement on which the error or unauthorized EFT activity appeared, you may not recover losses from Natural.
Notification Contents. When you notify Natural of EFT activity you suspect is in error or unauthorized, you must include:
- your full legal name, or legal entity name, and the associated account number;
- a description of the EFT activity you claim is in error or unauthorized;
- a statement explaining why you believe the specific EFT activity is in error or unauthorized; and
- the dollar amount of each EFT activity you claim is in error or unauthorized.
Contact Information. To report EFT activity you suspect is in error or unauthorized, contact Natural at notices@natural.com.
Error Resolution & Provisional Credit. Natural will investigate and inform you of the results within 10 business days. If we need up to 45 days (or 90 days for new accounts) to investigate, we will provisionally credit your account within 10 business days for the disputed amount so you have use of the funds during our review.
Stopping Preauthorized Payments. To stop a recurring payment, notify Natural at least 3 business days before the next scheduled recurring payment. If you notify Natural within that time period, and we fail to stop the payment, Natural is liable for your losses or damages.
